About the studio
Architecture that belongs to its place and outlasts its moment
Zakir Designs is an architecture and interiors studio working across Pakistan, from the plains of Punjab and Sindh to the valleys of the north. Every project starts with the site, the climate and the people who will use it.
We design homes, workplaces, hospitality and public buildings with honest materials, deep shade and long-term thinking, then refine until nothing is left that does not earn its place.

All projectsOur approach
Design that works with the climate, the place and the people
A well-designed building is several degrees cooler, easier to maintain and more pleasant to grow old in, before a single machine is switched on.
